Geography & setting
Venezia Course is located on the Lido di Venezia, in the Veneto region of Italy. The course evolves across a links-style terrain shaped by wind, sand, and ground play, complemented by a wooded area where precision from the tee is paramount. History
Founded in 1928, the club opened nine holes in 1930, designed by Scottish architect Cruikshank. C. K. Cotton later expanded the course to eighteen holes, playable from 1951.
Architecture
Nearly 100 hectares of sandy ground between the Adriatic and Venetian Lagoon combine links characteristics with tree-lined fairways, small elevated greens and heavy bunkering.

The course features 18 holes, with a par of 72, and measures approximately 6039 meters from the championship tees. The course utilizes its links/woodland environment to organize angles, hazards, and approaches to the greens.
Club experience
The clubhouse occupies former Austrian military buildings and stables, creating a direct connection with the history of the Lido.
