The Round Social

Every round can have more impact.

With The Round Social, a share of the revenue generated by rounds booked through The Round is dedicated to social projects tied to golf, youth and inclusion.

The idea

Turning the network’s activity into concrete impact.

Every time a member books and plays an eligible round through The Round, €3 are allocated to The Round Social fund. The contribution is built into the network’s economics: it is not added on top of the price paid by the member, and partner clubs do not have to manage it administratively.

The mechanics

How a round becomes impact.

A four-step, embedded mechanism — no surcharge, no extra step for the member.

01

The member books

The member selects a partner course or a golf experience from their Round space and uses credits or the payment method provided. 1 credit corresponds to a reference value of €5.

02

The member plays

Once the round is completed and validated — via the booking, the member QR code or the partner club’s confirmation — it becomes eligible for the social contribution.

03

€3 are allocated to the fund

For each eligible round, €3 are assigned to The Round Social, accounted for separately from the club’s revenue and the member’s credits.

04

Impact is measured

In their personal space, members follow the number of rounds played, the contribution generated, the collective impact and the projects funded by the community.

The Round Social works independently of the number of credits used. Members do not pay an additional €3: the contribution is built into the network’s economics.

Overall impact

Visible, measured, cumulative.

As the community grows, every round played tangibly reinforces a project, a club or a beneficiary.

Sources of funding

Where the fund comes from.

The contribution linked to rounds is the primary source. It is complemented by solidarity events, partners and, occasionally, voluntary contributions.

Round-based contribution

Primary source. €3 per eligible round played through The Round, embedded in the network’s economics.

Solidarity events

Some Round events include a fixed contribution per participant, a share of the profits, an auction or a raffle for the benefit of the fund.

Partners and companies

Funding a programme, temporarily matching contributions, sponsoring an initiation day, buying equipment or supporting a social event.

Voluntary contributions

A member can complement the impact generated by their activity with a voluntary contribution, in a distinct space and without automatic pre-selection.

Example: for one month, a partner doubles every contribution. A round played then generates €6 instead of €3 for The Round Social.
Causes supported

Four priorities, aligned with The Round’s identity.

The fund focuses on useful projects, consistent with the network’s mission and close to our partner clubs.

Youth and discovery of golf

Introductions, discovery days, clinics, lessons with professionals, equipment loans or purchases, transport to partner clubs.

Accessibility and inclusion

Programmes for young people from less privileged backgrounds, people with disabilities, local associations and intergenerational initiatives.

Talent support

Help for young players who lack resources: training, entry fees, equipment, travel, coaching and mentoring.

Social projects of partner clubs

Partner clubs can submit local projects. Resource allocation remains transparent and framed by The Round Social committee.

Project selection

How are projects chosen?

A simple, credible process, open to associations, partner clubs and recognised organisations.

01

Call for projects

Associations, partner clubs and recognised organisations submit their initiative through a dedicated form.

02

Analysis

Each project is assessed on social usefulness, alignment with the mission, number of beneficiaries, feasibility, budget, measurable results and the transparency of the organisation.

03

Committee selection

Projects are selected by The Round Social committee, made up of Round representatives and, over time, independent figures or partners.

04

Member consultation

Some envelopes may be opened to a member vote, between shortlisted projects, on a social priority or on the allocation of a budget.

Member consultation never replaces administrative, financial and legal oversight of the projects.

Transparency

Visible and verifiable impact.

The Round Social regularly publishes the fund’s indicators and decisions. An annual impact report is made available.
