At a glance
Les Cygnes is a modern 5,807-metre par-71 course winding between water and forest without crossing previous holes.
History
Sénart was developed as an accessible golf facility southeast of Paris. Les Cygnes became the sporting centre while a pitch-and-putt supports learning. The club later joined UGOLF.
Woodland, lakes and meadow create escape despite nearby transport routes. Deer and geese are regularly seen. Ground is relatively flat and easy to walk.
Architecture
Five par threes, nine par fours and four par fives combine water-influenced lines with tighter forest sectors. The design is readable but varied.
FFGolf publishes 5,807 metres, par 71, men’s SSS 70. 5 and Slope 130. The nines measure 2,863 and 2,944 metres.
Club experience
The club opens year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54, with practice, putting, dining, buggies, seminars and academy. The separate pitch-and-putt is excluded from the Atlas main count.
