At a glance
Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil is a balanced varied par 70 designed in 1989 between estate, river and forest by Pierrick Drancourt with Gaëtan Mourgue d’Algue.
History
The course was created in 1989 during the landscaped development of Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil. Pierrick Drancourt worked with multiple French champion and Trophée Lancôme founder Gaëtan Mourgue d’Algue.
The golf occupies sixty-five hectares beside Sénart forest. Fairways cross parkland, woodland and river-related sectors, creating calm despite nearby Corbeil-Essonnes.
Architecture
The design aims for balance. Fairways are generous, while trees, doglegs and water require position. Readable greens support developing golfers and back tees strengthen par fours.
The club publishes 5,762 metres and par 70. Moderate length and accessible greens make enjoyable golf, while woodland lines punish lateral errors.
Club experience
The club opens almost year-round and welcomes visitors up to handicap 54, with more than fifty practice bays, pitching, putting, dining, buggies, stages and academy.
