UGOLF Gif-Chevry

Gif-Chevry is Essonne’s only genuine non-compact nine-hole course, rated for both nine and eighteen holes through different outward and return tees.

The course was developed on the Chevry plateau as local golf for the Chevreuse Valley and nearby university and scientific communities. Dual tees turn nine physical fairways into an 18-hole round with different angles and lengths. The course lies within a heavily planted Gif-sur-Yvette neighbourhood. Many tree species provide calm atmosphere, gentle terrain and wind shelter.

The outward loop measures 2,438 metres and par 33 with three par threes and six par fours. Return tees create 2,554 metres and par 34, including a par five. The full rated round totals 4,992 metres and par 67. The Atlas records one physical nine-hole loop, consistent with its treatment of modular courses.

The club opens year-round with practice, dining, seminars, coaching and competitions. Nine or eighteen holes can be played even at weekends. Physical 9 holes; outward par 33; 2,438 metres; rated 18-hole round of 4,992 metres and par 67 using different tees; Essonne’s only non-compact nine.
