UGOLF Béthemont

Béthemont is the only French course designed by Bernhard Langer, a wooded rolling parkland of sharp doglegs, water and protected greens demanding accurate iron play.

Created in 1989 across a 65-hectare estate, Béthemont is the only French design by two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer. His detail-driven positional philosophy produced a demanding but coherent course that later joined UGOLF. The estate lies at Poissy, twenty minutes from Paris and fifteen from La Défense. Fairways cross wooded rolling ground dominated by oak. Water, slopes and forest corridors create strong variety.

Langer emphasises doglegs and angles. Fairways tighten between trees, bunkers sit beside oaks and water cuts direct lines. Players repeatedly choose between conservative position and aggressive route. UGOLF publishes 6,035 metres from white tees and par 72. FFGolf’s alternative back reference is 5,926 metres with SSS 73. 1 and Slope 134. All figures confirm a technical accuracy-based test.
