Geography & setting
The course occupies a steep slope above Playa de Santiago, offering permanent views of the Atlantic and Mount Teide.
History
Opened in 2003, Tecina was designed by Donald Steel within the Jardín Tecina estate on La Gomera.
Architecture
Steel arranged a descending routing, with most holes playing towards the sea. Agricultural terraces, ravines, and Canary Island vegetation define the architecture.
The course in detail
The course is spectacular and unique, starting at the highest point and generally progressing towards the hotel.
Club experience
The experience combines golf, hotel, gardens, swimming pool, and a peaceful island environment.
