At a glance
La Bruyère – Royal Hainaut’s heathland loop among pine, sand and broom
History
La Bruyère belongs to the historic 27-hole complex opened in 1933 on the Princes de Croÿ estate and associated with Tom Simpson.
Architecture
It is a physical nine-hole loop, not a separate eighteen-hole course. Pine forest, sandy drainage, heather and broom create a rare Belgian heathland character.
Club experience
The loop combines with Le Quesnoy or Les Étangs and benefits from the historic club’s clubhouse, dining, practice and event facilities.
