Rosendaelsche Golfclub

Rosendaelsche — a historic Veluwe club transformed into a major woodland course by Frank Pennink

The course is situated on the edge of the Veluwe, within a landscape of forest, sand, heathland, and gently rolling terrain. The holes wind through tall pines, beeches, and open clearings.

Rosendaelsche Golfclub was founded in 1895 and moved to the Delhuijzen estate, near Arnhem, in 1908. Aelbrecht Arent del Court van Krimpen designed the first nine holes on this site. Frank Pennink later transformed and extended the course to eighteen holes in the 1970s.

The older holes possess a more compact and traditional character, while Pennink's extension introduced greater length, elevated greens, and a distinct use of trees and heathland transitions.

The course is easy to walk but demands very precise ball striking off the tee. The corridors subtly open and close, and several greens are best approached from a specific half of the fairway.

Rosendaelsche retains the atmosphere of an old Dutch club, featuring a historic clubhouse, tranquil forest surroundings, and welcoming visitors during specified hours.
