Real Club Sevilla — José María Olazábal’s championship course without sacrificing playability

The course is situated in Alcalá de Guadaíra, to the southeast of Seville. It is relatively flat, very open, and subject to both significant heat and wind.

The club was inaugurated in 1992, the same year as the Seville Universal Exposition. José María Olazábal, in collaboration with Integral Golf Design, crafted a course intended to host major competitions from its very opening.

Olazábal designed a par 72 course stretching over 6,500 meters, featuring wide fairways, expansive greens, deep bunkers, and strategically placed water hazards.

The challenge primarily stems from its length, the precision required for approach shots, and the quality of the playing surfaces, rather than from elevation changes.

The club offers golf, a comprehensive driving range, a racquet center, a clubhouse, and dining facilities, all within a sporting and professional atmosphere.

Inaugurated in 1992; designed by José María Olazábal; host of the Spanish Open, the WGC-World Cup 2004, and several other major events.
