Quinta do Lago North — a course modernised by Beau Welling and Paul McGinley

The layout meanders through pine trees, sandy areas, lakes, and rolling terrain, all nestled in the heart of Quinta do Lago.

Originally opened in the 1970s, the North Course was comprehensively rebuilt by Beau Welling and Paul McGinley, reopening in 2014.

New greens, bunkers, tees and drainage produced clearer strategy and stronger sustainability.

The North is more undulating and feels more secluded than the South, with several holes requiring precise tee shots.

The course shares Quinta do Lago’s academy, practice, dining and accommodation.

Historic course dating back to the 1970s; complete reconstruction by Beau Welling and Paul McGinley, finalized in 2014.
