Prise d’Eau developed near Tilburg as a complete sporting and hospitality complex. The main 18-hole course became the base of a large regional club, supported by practice facilities and a shorter course. Its name reflects the site’s historical connection with local water management. Over time, maturing planting, improved drainage and renewed playing surfaces strengthened the course’s coherence. The club hosts competition, welcomes green-fee players under published conditions and relies on an active membership culture that contributes to maintenance, coaching and the identity of the venue. The property combines pine, deciduous woodland, water and more open sections. Trees frame many fairways, while lakes add visual depth and regularly influence play. The landscape is more than scenery: it influences ball flight, bounce, fairway firmness and distance perception. Wind, vegetation and soil conditions give the course a different character across the seasons.

The design alternates doglegs, framed fairways and greens defended by water or bunkers. Players repeatedly choose between a safe route and a more direct line close to hazards. The architecture rewards position, angle and continuity. A conservative route usually exists, but it leaves a longer or less open next shot. Greens are easiest to attack from the correct side of the fairway. The course has full length, but accuracy from the tee remains the priority. Trees quickly close recovery routes and greens demand good depth control. The course has 18 holes, plays to par 72 and measures about 6200 metres from its reference tees. Multiple tee sets adapt the challenge without removing the strategic decisions.

The club offers substantial dining, coaching and event capacity, making it suitable for corporate days and groups. Clubhouse, dining and practice facilities extend the day beyond the course.
