The layout alternates between pine forests, dunes, open terrain, and spectacular holes along the Atlantic coastline.

Praia D’El Rey opened in 1997, designed by Cabell B. Robinson. The course quickly became a major driving force behind the golf development in the Óbidos region.

Robinson combines generous fairways, visible bunkers, and greens accessible from multiple trajectories. The coastal holes offer more opportunities for ground play.

The course is highly varied, with a clear distinction between the inland nine holes and sequences exposed to the sea.

The resort combines a hotel, villas, beach, spa, restaurants, and access to several courses in the region.
