At a glance
Le Manoir is Omaha Beach’s second 18-hole course, a 5,863-metre par 71 that is more rolling, wooded and water-influenced than La Mer.
History
The estate began with the Étang nine in 1986. Yves Bureau later completed the system and created the Manoir loop in 2006. Together they form today’s second 18-hole course and the only 36-hole resort in Normandy. The course crosses inland bocage of woodland, orchard, lakes, hedges and slopes. Water is more frequent than on La Mer and trees provide partial wind shelter.
Architecture
Direction changes, water-protected greens and restricted recovery routes create a precision course. Older Étang character combines with the more modern Manoir loop. The official site publishes 5,863 metres and par 71. Moderate length is balanced by lakes, doglegs and uneven lies.
Club experience
The course shares resort facilities and fits stays around Bayeux, D-Day beaches and Port-en-Bessin. Mixed 2026 routes reuse the same physical holes. 18 holes; par 71; 5,863 metres; Yves Bureau; Étang opened in 1986 and Manoir extension in 2006; woodland and lakes.
