History
Notts Golf Club was founded in 1887 and moved to Hollinwell in 1901. Willie Park Jr. designed the initial course; J. H. Taylor and the professional Tom Williamson later made significant alterations.

Park Jr. masterfully utilized the terrain's undulations, natural bunkers, and dogleg angles. Subsequent interventions reinforced the bunkering without compromising the original character.
