Nampont Saint-Martin Golf Club

Les Cygnes is Nampont’s valley course, laid out beside the Authie among water, meadow and bird habitat. Longer and more open than Le Belvédère, it is the estate’s principal sporting course.

After completing Le Belvédère, the founders developed a second layout beside the Authie. Les Cygnes opened in 1994 as an initial loop and became a full 18-hole course in 2002. Its name reflects the birds found across the property and the central role of nature in Nampont’s identity. The course follows Authie meanders below Maison Forte. Fairways run between river channels, ponds, wetlands and meadow. The bird reserve supports many species. Ground is more open and flatter than Le Belvédère, but more exposed to wind and valley moisture.

Strategy relies heavily on water and tee position. Several holes run beside or cross wetland and require precise carries. Fairways can appear broad, but the best line often lies close to danger. Greens are generally larger than those on Le Belvédère and support varied hole locations. The course officially measures 5,850 metres and plays to par 72. Length, extended par fours and shots over water create a more athletic test. Wind can make certain holes substantially longer, while open fairways allow aggressive options.

The club presents Les Cygnes as Nampont’s flagship. It shares practice facilities and Maison Forte restaurant.
