Nampont Saint-Martin Golf Club

Le Belvédère is Nampont-Saint-Martin’s wooded rolling course, occupying plateaus above the Authie valley. Shorter than Les Cygnes, it compensates through elevation, angles and compact greens.

Golf at Nampont developed in the 1970s around the fifteenth-century Maison Forte, now clubhouse and restaurant. The first course opened as nine holes, before nine additional holes completed Le Belvédère in 1984. This became the estate’s first full course and the historical foundation for the later Les Cygnes layout. The course occupies wooded high ground above the Authie meanders. Fairways cross forest, clearings and surprisingly strong slopes for a region often considered flat. Some tees provide views across the valley and Marquenterre landscape. Trees and terrain create a character very different from nearby Opal Coast links.

Routing follows natural contour with uphill, downhill and sidehill holes. Fairways are often narrow and greens compact, rewarding accuracy. Several relatively short par fives become difficult through slope and approach angle, while varied par threes play from elevated tees to small defended targets. FFGolf tables publish 5,176 metres, par 72, with men’s Course Rating 68. 9 and Slope 129. Moderate length understates the challenge: uneven lies, trees and small landing areas require disciplined management.

Le Belvédère shares Les Cygnes’ water range, grass practice area, putting green and Maison Forte restaurant. The club operates year-round and welcomes outside golfers up to handicap 54.
