History
Opened in 1993 as Sun City’s second course, Lost City was designed by Gary Player to provide a completely different experience from the original course.
Architecture
Rocky terrain, desert-style areas, broad fairways and 28,000 square metres of water define the course; the thirteenth features an Africa-shaped green and crocodile pond.
The course in detail
The course has 18 holes, a par 72, and measures approximately 6983 meters from the championship tees. The course utilizes its desert/parkland environment to organize angles, hazards, and green approaches.
