Le Touquet Golf Resort

Le Manoir is Le Touquet’s historic nine-hole course, created in 1910 as a complete learning and improvement layout.

Le Manoir was created in 1910, six years after La Forêt. It lies beside Allen Stoneham’s former family home, later converted into the golf hotel. The course has always supported learning and preparation, but its mix of par threes, fours and fives gives it genuine independent-course status. The course shares La Forêt’s sandy woodland environment. Trees, clearings and views towards resort facilities create an intimate atmosphere. It is less exposed than La Mer and plays quickly.

The design attributed to Harold Baker presents all major game situations: wooded drives, doglegs, bunkers, green approaches and longer holes. Strategy and technique can be practised in a compact format. The current official version measures about 2,413 metres and plays to par 34. Mixed par values make it a genuine course rather than pitch and putt. Greens and bunkers remain demanding enough for experienced golfers.

Le Manoir suits quick rounds, juniors, beginners and members working on their game. It shares the hotel, practice, clubhouse and restaurants of the two 18-hole courses. 9 holes; par 34; 2,413 metres; created in 1910; historically attributed to Harold Baker; complete learning course.
