Robert Hersant

Robert Hersant is a spectacular 6,301-metre par 72 conceived as a botanical garden and American-style target course around twelve hectares of water.

Robert Hersant personally imagined the routing from courses he visited, using large models and repeatedly altering holes. Nearly fifteen thousand trees were planted before the official 1998 opening, and a modern clubhouse followed in 2010. Around one hundred hectares beside the Eure combine landscaped hills, forest, rare trees and extensive water, with especially strong autumn colour.

Defined landing areas, water-surrounded targets, fifty-six bunkers and thirty hectares of rough demand precise target selection rather than automatic driver use. FFGolf publishes 6,301 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 72. 6 and Slope 140. The nines measure 3,220 and 3,081 metres.
