LaLargue Golf Resort

LaLargue Championship is a rolling 6,142-metre par 72 by Jeremy Pern and Jean Garaïalde in the Sundgau, close to Switzerland and Germany.

The resort opened in 1994 and quickly became a tri-national Basel-region destination. Pern and Garaïalde used contour, woodland and the Largue river to create a varied course. Older and current sources differ slightly because tee configurations evolved. At roughly 430 metres altitude, forest, clearings, water and Vosges views accompany frequent climbs and descents. Basel and two international borders create a naturally international membership and visitor base.

Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives use trees, river, contour and bunkers. Strategic choices vary strongly from hole to hole, with aggressive and safer routes. The current official site publishes 6,142 metres and par 72. Network cards list Course Rating 73. 1 and Slope 138 from white tees, while longer markers can approach Slope 148. Older sources show 6,116 metres.

A major range, putting, pitching, bunkers, coaching, Le Bistro and events support visitors to handicap 54.
