Kempferhof Resort

Kempferhof is a physical 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 5989 metres. Its identity comes from a Robert von Hagge design with sculpted greens, spectacular bunkers and near-constant water.

The course belongs to Kempferhof Resort. The course opened in 1990 on an 85-hectare Rhine-side estate and quickly became one of France’s best-known layouts. The recorded design reference is Robert von Hagge. Sporting activity, coaching and visitor services developed around the layout without erasing its original character. The course occupies Alsace countryside beside the Rhine among century-old oak, beech and poplar. Season, wind, moisture and vegetation can change effective distance and playing conditions.

The design challenge combines side mounds, huge bunkers, shaped greens and aggressive driving lines close to water. Landing-zone choice and approach angle matter more than automatic power. The retained reference is 5989 metres and par 72. The resort publishes 5,989 metres and par 72. A recent provisional federation card shows Slope 139. The permanent resort course is recorded; temporary configurations do not create additional entries. Forward tees preserve accessibility while back tees reveal the full test.

Restaurant, pro shop, connected range and academy operate while the hotel is currently under renovation.
