: a modernised nine-hole course integrated with an events destination and digital practice range.

Harderwold has undergone several transformations. The property once operated as a larger course connected with residential and leisure development at Zeewolde. After closure and restructuring, it reopened in 2023 as Harderwold Golf & Events with a modernised nine-hole layout. The new concept combines golf, an Inrange digital practice facility, dining, meetings and events. Elements of the earlier design associated with Alan Rijks remain, but the present format is more compact and operationally flexible. The site lies near the Wolderwijd in an open Flevoland landscape of water, dikes and long horizons. Lakes influence several holes and planting has matured over time. Wind crosses the exposed sections freely. The course is also connected with a broad residential and leisure development.

Two sets of tees allow a differentiated 18-hole round on the nine-hole loop. Fairways are relatively wide, while bunkers and water defend the direct lines. Modern greens and landing zones work for both beginners and experienced golfers. The design prioritises flow, safety and event flexibility. Played twice, it provides an 18-hole round with tee changes. Water and wind create the principal challenge. Walking is easy and the pace suits groups or after-work golf. The value of the venue lies in combining course, technology and hospitality.

Harderwold fully embraces its event positioning. Brasserie, meeting rooms, outdoor activities and the Inrange facility support complete programmes. Green fees are open and the atmosphere is deliberately less formal than at a traditional club. For The Round, it is particularly suitable for business meetings, introductions to golf and community events.
