The Championship Course is part of Bavaria's golfing heritage, reflecting the evolution of golf around Moosinning. The club was founded in 1987 and Kurt Roßknecht’s championship course opened in June 1989. The first BMW International Open followed that year; a third nine was added in 2002.

The course leverages its parkland setting to define angles, hazards, and green approaches. The course features 18 holes, a par of 72, and measures approximately 6450 meters from the championship tees.

The club combines a regular professional tournament venue with extensive modern practice facilities.
