Krokkebaas 9 Holes
9 holes · Par 27 · 977 m · 1995
At a glance
a nine-hole par-three course in Buggenhout Forest, created for learning and sharpening the short game
History
Krokkebaas has operated since 1995. The course began with six holes and expanded to nine in 2009, strengthening its role as a genuine learning and improvement loop. The club gradually developed around accessible golf, a regular competition calendar and practice facilities serving both local players and visitors. Maturing planting, professional maintenance and evolving tee positions strengthened the course without erasing its original character. The site lies in the natural setting of Buggenhout Forest, known for its beech trees. Woodland provides shade, strong seasonal identity and a calm atmosphere. The landscape directly affects ball flight, wind, bounce and distance perception.
Architecture
The nine par threes cover the main demands of the short game: bunkers, trees, changing angles, narrow greens and varied distances. The design rewards accuracy, position and preparation of the next shot rather than power alone. The course plays to par 27 at approximately 977 metres. Its short format allows a quick round, but greens and hazards require real technique. The loop has 9 holes, plays to par 27 and measures about 977 metres from its reference tees.
Club experience
A covered range, regular competitions and personal welcome create a warm teaching-oriented club atmosphere. For The Round, the venue can suit a short round, an introduction, a local meeting or a group activity. Active since 1995; expanded from six to nine holes in 2009; par 27; about 977 metres; woodland par-three course; covered practice.
