Golfclub De Schoot

De Schoot developed near Sint-Oedenrode as a member club and competition venue. The 18-hole main course matured over time while the club expanded coaching and facilities. Over time, maturing planting, improved drainage and renewed playing surfaces strengthened the course’s coherence. The club hosts competition, welcomes green-fee players under published conditions and relies on an active membership culture that contributes to maintenance, coaching and the identity of the venue. The site uses woodland, water and meadow in a relatively flat but well-defined Brabant landscape. The landscape is more than scenery: it influences ball flight, bounce, fairway firmness and distance perception. Wind, vegetation and soil conditions give the course a different character across the seasons.

Holes are readable, with hazards defending the best landing areas. Greens require precise approach play. The architecture rewards position, angle and continuity. A conservative route usually exists, but it leaves a longer or less open next shot. Greens are easiest to attack from the correct side of the fairway. Length is balanced, while water and trees punish directional mistakes. The course has 18 holes, plays to par 72 and measures about 6050 metres from its reference tees. Multiple tee sets adapt the challenge without removing the strategic decisions.

The club offers a classical, friendly regional experience suitable for green-fee play and groups. Clubhouse, dining and practice facilities extend the day beyond the course.
