Golfbaan Westwoud

Westwoud is a mature West-Frisian polder parkland course where water, wind and established planting define the challenge.

Developed in the late 1980s from a design associated with Joan Frederik Dudok van Heel, the course has matured significantly as trees, water features and green complexes have evolved.

The routing uses field boundaries, ditches and ponds rather than dramatic elevation. Accurate driving and the correct approach angle are more important than pure length.

Westwoud is known for visitor hospitality, online booking, restaurant facilities and combined golf-and-dining offers.
