At a glance
Sarreguemines is a physical 18-hole course, par 73, measuring 6020 metres. A 125-hectare property combines natural reserve, lakes, sloping fairways and five par fives.
History
After liquidation in 2013 and a private rescue, the local authority acquired the golf in 2015 and returned it to direct public management in 2017. Major investment restored course quality and German membership remains important.
The front nine is rolling and sidehill, while the wider back nine introduces more lakes and doglegs. Woodland and wetland support biodiversity.
Architecture
Four par threes, nine par fours and five par fives use contoured greens, water and blind angles. Generous width can be deceptive.
FFGolf publishes 6,020 metres, par 73, men’s SSS 72. 1 and Slope 137. The nines measure 2,943 and 3,077 metres.
