At a glance
Les Dunes is a 2,119-metre municipal nine-hole par 31 within the Havre de la Vanlée, shaped since 1964 by members and volunteers.
History
Guillaume de Maneville launched the project in July 1964 when golf was still rare in the Manche. Volunteers and successive presidents gradually built the course, creating strong municipal identity.
The course lies near Mont-Saint-Michel Bay among dunes, salt meadow and maritime wind. Flat ground changes quickly with coastal conditions.
Architecture
Par 31 combines several par threes with par fours for real tee-shot practice. Wind, compact greens and coastal lines create technical challenge.
FFGolf publishes 2,119 metres from white tees and 1,664 from red. Played twice, it becomes 4,238 metres and par 62.
Club experience
The club opens year-round with outside competitions, buggies, trolleys, coaching and accessible municipal pricing.
