Loches-Verneuil

Loches-Verneuil is an ecological accessible 2,462-metre par-35 nine within twenty-five hectares of Touraine countryside near royal Loches.

Opened in 2003 with regional support, the course was designed by Olivier Van der Vynckt around existing contours, trees, streams and a pond. Actor Claude Brasseur became patron. Three opening holes are open before the loop tightens among trees, streams, pond, bunkers and vegetation, with a round around one hour forty-five.

The par 35 uses natural hazards without heavy earthmoving, creating an accessible opening and more precise closing section. Specialist descriptions publish 2,462 metres for the physical nine and about 4,892 metres for a repeated round, with full-round Slope around 118.
