Golf Lille Métropole

Lille Métropole’s academy course is a genuine nine-hole loop, more wooded and rolling than the main course.

Created with the complex opened in 1998, the academy loop was designed as a development course rather than a simple pitch and putt. It complements the public Ronchin championship course and introduces players to every family of golf shot. The course occupies a more planted and gently rolling part of the property. Trees and contour provide greater wind shelter than on the championship course, creating two distinct experiences within one complex.

The design contains par threes, fours and fives, with narrower fairways, doglegs and accessible greens. Architecture remains educational, but hazards require route choice and hole construction. The loop measures about 2,290 metres and plays to par 33. It suits beginners, but remains a complete qualifying course and a useful quick round for experienced golfers.

The course shares Lille Métropole’s range, coaching, clubhouse and public facilities. It is particularly appropriate for introductions, juniors and after-work golf. 9 holes; par 33; about 2,290 metres; more wooded and rolling than the 18-hole course; complete academy loop, not pitch and putt.
