At a glance
Sarrebourg is a 6,076-metre par 72 on former Winkelhof farm land. Gently rolling and partly wooded, the course overlooks the town and the blue line of the Vosges.
History
Local golfers founded the association on 7 October 1997 and the course developed in the late 1990s. Olivier Dongradi designed the main layout across roughly sixty hectares at the forest edge. A compact, range, dining, seminars and footgolf later broadened the offer. The course occupies high ground above Sarrebourg among meadow, forest edge and gentle contour. Fairways are open enough for confidence, but trees and slopes alter approach angles. Vosges views provide strong identity.
Architecture
Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives create a balanced card. Long holes and bunker-protected greens reward steady progress rather than constant risk. Current FFGolf data publishes 6,076 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 72. 3 and Slope 126. The nines measure 3,027 and 3,049 metres. Older sources list 6,115 metres.
Club experience
Practice, short game, dining, seminars, coaching and French-German visitor culture support groups within reach of Strasbourg, Metz and Nancy. 18 holes; par 72; 6,076 metres; Olivier Dongradi; association founded in 1997; SSS 72. 3; Slope 126.
