Golf du Lys Chantilly

Les Bouleaux is Lys Chantilly’s second 18-hole course, shorter than Les Chênes but highly technical, with trees and defended greens making every tee shot important.

Golf du Lys Chantilly developed within the historic Lys forest estate, long connected with Parisian leisure and Chantilly’s equestrian world. Les Bouleaux complements Les Chênes and gives the club thirty-six rated holes. It built an identity based less on length than accuracy and surface quality. The course winds through pine, birch and oak on sandy southern Oise soil. Ground is relatively flat but strongly divided by vegetation. Trees shelter wind and create calm atmosphere, while clearings and changing species alter visual character.

Fairways are often narrower than on Les Chênes and green angles disappear quickly. The unusual mix includes five par threes and four par fives. Short holes are not easy: bunkers, compact greens and trees require depth control. Powerful players find opportunities, but directional errors are hard to recover. FFGolf publishes 5,772 metres and par 71. Men’s Course Rating is 71. 1 and Slope 142, confirming the difficulty. The front nine measures 2,971 metres and the back nine 2,801. Discipline and ball shaping matter more than power.

Lys Chantilly is a large family club with two 18-hole courses, pitch and putt, range, swimming pool, tennis, restaurant and childcare. Visitors can play under club conditions.
