At a glance
Fort is a physical nine-hole urban compact, par 30 and 1,218 metres from the longest federation markers. Six par threes and three genuine par fours make it a complete development course rather than simple pitch and putt.
History
Golf du Fort was developed as a new-generation facility intended to broaden access to golf south of Strasbourg. Its model combines introductions, Green Card pathways, accessible memberships and technology-based practice. The exact opening year is not clearly published, so the Atlas records development in the early 2000s rather than inventing a date. The course surrounds Fort Uhrich within green space at Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Strasbourg is close, yet trees and earthworks screen the holes. Compact, gently moving land is easy to walk.
Architecture
Six par threes are joined by three par fours of roughly 243 to 248 metres. Wedges, irons, hybrids and tee shots all have a role. Compact greens and hole locations reward depth control and sensible positioning. FFGolf publishes 1,218 metres and par 30 for the physical nine, with men’s SSS 26. 3 and Slope 45. The par-60 display simply repeats the same loop.
Club experience
A forty-five-bay range with fifteen covered positions, TrackMan Range, simulator, putting, chipping, dining and structured coaching support quick rounds and corporate introductions. Physical 9 holes; par 30; 1,218 metres; six par threes and three par fours; SSS 26. 3; Slope 45.
