L’Aqueduc

L’Aqueduc is a 5,552-metre par-70 château course by Michel Gayon among water, parkland trees and Vauban’s monumental aqueduct.

Created in 1988 within Château de Maintenon park, the course integrates modern golf with historic gardens and Louis XIV’s unfinished water aqueduct to Versailles. Mature trees, meadow, the Eure, lakes and aqueduct views create a unique relatively gentle landscape where water repeatedly influences play.

Five par threes, ten par fours and three par fives create a technical par 70. Doglegs, water and defended greens compensate for moderate length. FFGolf publishes 5,552 metres and par 70, with men’s Slope around 126. Shorter club tees reach approximately 5,322 metres.
