Golf du Champ de Bataille

Champ de Bataille is a 5,987-metre par-72 château course integrated into woodland, natural valleys and water across the Neubourg estate.

The golf opened in 1990 within the historic Château du Champ de Bataille estate. American architect Robin Nelson and landscape designer Thierry Huau preserved mature trees, fern and rhododendron. Jean-Manuel Rossi later designed new holes twelve and thirteen. The course covers around sixty hectares of woodland and valleys. Fairways penetrate forest, cross wetlands and follow lakes, creating strong seasonal character.

Doglegs, raised greens and tree-lined routes define the course. Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives require direction and depth control. The detailed card publishes 5,987 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 72. 6 and Slope 139. The 402-metre fifteenth is a major test.
