At a glance
L’Étang is Bois d’Ô’s longest and most powerful loop, a rare 3,323-metre par-37 nine built around a construction-created lake.
History
Built in 1995 after Pommiers, the course was designed by Stephen Moskal and constructed by Arpaja, using excavated lake soil to shape greens.
Open water-oriented ground and agricultural horizons create greater wind exposure and length.
Architecture
The par-37 loop includes three par fives, with the longest at 549 metres and the longest par three at 192 metres.
The club publishes 3,323 metres and par 37. With Pommiers, the combination reaches 6,145 metres and par 73.
Club experience
Étang is the complex’s strongest competition loop but remains accessible from forward tees and shares all club services.
9 holes; par 37; 3,323 metres; Stephen Moskal, 1995; construction lake; par five to 549 metres.
