Limère

Limère is a 6,221-metre par-72 championship course by Cabell B. Robinson on the edge of the Sologne forest, combining water, large bunkers and strongly defended greens.

The course opened in 1992 as part of a resort project south of Orléans. Cabell B. Robinson, a former Robert Trent Jones Sr. associate, created a course accessible from multiple tees but capable of hosting serious competition. Woodland, clearings, sandy ground and water combine between Orléans and Sologne. Pine-lined sectors recall heathland while large lakes introduce American-style target golf.

Broad fairways contain several strategic lines. Bunkers and water defend preferred angles, and large greens offer varied hole locations. Position matters more than simply finding the centre. The back reference reaches 6,221 metres and par 72, with Course Rating around 73. 5 and Slope up to 139. The nines measure approximately 3,199 and 3,022 metres.
