Golf d’Hardelot

Les Dunes is Hardelot’s second course, a more modern and panoramic layout combining lakes, pine forest, rolling ground and dune views.

Les Dunes was built in the late 1980s and opened in the early 1990s. Paul Rolin and Jean-Claude Cornillot designed a complement to Les Pins with more modern expression and greater water presence. A recent facelift improved greens, bunkers and strategic clarity. The opening nine crosses maritime pine forest, while the back nine opens towards dramatic dune views. Elevation is stronger than on many regional courses, and ornamental lakes provide visual and strategic interest.

The design uses elevation changes, doglegs and water. Early holes are more contained, later holes more open and panoramic. Remodeled bunkers and greens strengthen route choices. The official version measures about 5,335 metres and plays to par 70. Length is moderate, but slopes, water and angles create a complete test. Wind makes the back nine especially variable.

Les Dunes has a clubhouse with restaurant and terrace overlooking holes one and eighteen. It complements Les Pins as a 36-hole destination for stays, competitions and groups. 18 holes; par 70; 5,335 metres; Paul Rolin and Jean-Claude Cornillot; opened around 1991; forest, lakes and dune views.
