History
The site began in 1986 when a farmer diversified into a practice. Three holes came first, crowdfunding added holes four and nine, and the remaining holes completed the loop in the early 1990s.
Between Châteauroux and Issoudun, the course lies beside oak forest with deer, pheasant and heron. Flat walking is easy, but trees close lines.
Architecture
The first loop contains three par threes, four par fours and two par fives for par 35. Different return tees create a 5,175-metre par-70 round.
FFGolf displays eighteen holes, but the club confirms nine physical holes and eighteen tees. The Atlas uses 2,568 metres for the first loop; men’s full-round SSS is 68. 4 and Slope 125.
Club experience
No Green Card or handicap is required. Practice, putting, bunker, dining, bar, pro shop, dogs and corporate offers support a friendly club.
