Golf de Troyes La Cordelière

L’Étang is a physical 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 5896 metres, defined by a gently rolling château course dotted with water and century-old trees.

The estate belonged to the Comtes Chandon de Briailles. The château now houses the clubhouse and the course is a historic Aube reference. The recorded design reference is Architecte non communiqué par le club. The club developed sporting, coaching and visitor activity around the physical layout. The course occupies the border of Champagne and Burgundy in woodland and meadow near Chaource. Broad green ground follows forest, ponds and mature trees. Season, wind, trees and moisture change effective distance and playing conditions.

The challenge combines strong natural hazards, water, doglegs and greens requiring correct ball position. Landing-zone choice and approach angle matter more than automatic power.
