Golf de Seraincourt

Seraincourt is a gently rolling Vexin parkland designed by Fred Hawtree in 1964. Moderate length hides a varied course of doglegs, country views and elevation requiring genuine management.

The course was created in the 1960s as Paris golf expanded into the protected Vexin countryside. Fred Hawtree was asked to use the land without excessive artificial shaping. The club has retained an accessible rural identity, open year-round and focused on friendly golf. The course lies within the Vexin Français regional park, less than forty minutes from Paris and close to Cergy, Orgeval and Mantes-la-Jolie. Fairways follow rolling farmland between woodland edges, meadow and open views. Wind influences exposed sectors.

Hawtree created readable but never repetitive architecture. Fairways offer several landing options, doglegs require correct side selection and bunkers defend direct routes. Holes four and seventeen are presented as the course signatures. The official site publishes 5,847 metres and par 71. Raw power is not essential, but uneven lies and uphill or downhill approaches complicate distance. Keeping the ball in play creates scoring chances.
