Golf de Rouen Mont-Saint-Aignan

Rouen Mont-Saint-Aignan is a century-old 5,560-metre par-70 course organised in three distinct sequences: plateau accuracy, sidehill valley play and length over the final six holes.

The club was founded on 11 February 1911 by local figures and British residents. Course and clubhouse were built over two years, and operation continued through both world wars. Holes were remodelled in the 1950s and during later road construction without losing the original technical spirit. The course lies minutes from central Rouen on wooded rolling ground. Seven opening holes occupy higher land, five descend into a valley with uneven lies, and six return to the plateau.

The three-part structure defines strategy. The opening rewards position and short game, the valley demands balance and slope reading, and the finish restores length. The sloping par-four eighth is the signature. The course measures 5,560 metres and par 70. Men’s Slope is 127 from white and 121 from yellow, with white SSS 69. 1. Elevation and trees outweigh moderate length.

The member association is open without joining fee or sponsorship and welcomes visitors by reservation.
