History
Rigenée is one of Walloon Brabant’s established family and sporting clubs. Alongside its full course, it publishes an official Clubhouse 9 Holes configuration with dedicated ratings, slopes and tees. The format allows a handicap-valid short round while retaining the architecture and maintenance standard of the main course.
The course lies at Villers-la-Ville in rolling countryside of meadow, hedges and woodland. The Clubhouse loop uses the opening nine and returns naturally to the club facilities. Wind and elevation regularly influence effective distance.
Architecture
This is a genuine par-36 loop rather than a compact course. Fairways, doglegs and greens preserve the main course strategy. White tees total 2,854 metres, yellow 2,641, blue 2,361 and red 2,094. Dedicated ratings and slopes confirm its autonomous status.
From white tees, the men’s Course Rating is 35. 0 with a Slope of 131. Yellow tees measure 2,641 metres. Different tee sets adapt the loop without removing architectural difficulty.
Club experience
The nine-hole format suits short rounds, developing golfers and half-day competition. It benefits from the clubhouse, academy, practice facilities and Rigenée’s recognised atmosphere.
