At a glance
Reims is a physical 18-hole, par-73 course measuring 6068 metres, defined by a historic Champagne club, par 73, with five par fives, mature trees and château setting.
History
Reims golf history dates to 1928, while the current course developed around Château des Dames de France at Gueux. The recorded design reference is Évolutions historiques du Golf de Reims. The club developed sporting, coaching and visitor activity around the physical layout.
The course occupies Champagne countryside west of Reims among wooded parkland and nearby vineyards. Mature trees isolate holes and create a traditional club atmosphere. Season, wind, trees and moisture change effective distance and playing conditions.
Architecture
The challenge combines five par fives, long par fours, protected greens and length combined with precision. Landing-zone choice and approach angle matter more than automatic power.
The retained reference is 6068 metres and par 73. FFGolf publishes 6,068 metres, par 73, men’s SSS 72. 1 and Slope 134. The current course is one permanent eighteen-hole layout.
Club experience
The château clubhouse, practice, dining, competition and proximity to Champagne houses enrich the visit. The Grand Est location supports golf stays linked with cities, heritage, wine and natural landscapes.
