At a glance
France 9 Holes is a physical 9-hole, par-36 course measuring 3235 metres, defined by the greatest length of Preisch’s three loops, two powerful par fives and forest-water variety.
History
Preisch has three physical loops named France, Luxembourg and Germany. France forms the first half of the France-Luxembourg championship combination. The recorded design reference is William Amick; modelage Robin De Vooght; supervision Tom Dewar. The club developed sporting, coaching and visitor activity around the physical layout.
The course occupies a 107-hectare enclosed estate in the Three Borders region between Lorraine, Luxembourg and Germany. A Napoleonic stone wall, woodland and water create isolation only fifteen minutes from Luxembourg City. Season, wind, trees and moisture change effective distance and playing conditions.
Architecture
The challenge combines two 500-plus-metre par fives, substantial par fours, water and positional driving angles. Landing-zone choice and approach angle matter more than automatic power.
The retained reference is 3235 metres and par 36. The France-Luxembourg card totals 6,456 metres; France measures 3,235 metres and par 36. France is an independent physical nine; combinations are not additional courses.
Club experience
Academy, twenty covered bays, simulator, fitness, dining, seminars, changing rooms and buggies support the estate. The Grand Est location supports golf stays linked with cities, heritage, wine and natural landscapes.
Physical 9 holes; par 36; 3,235 metres; one loop of a 27-hole complex.
