Kaleka Course

The Kaleka Course is a 2,504-metre par-55 compact competition course, mainly par threes but including a genuine 240-metre par four.

Marcilly’s first pitch and putt opened in May 1986 before the main course was completed. Olivier Brizon recommended a beginner structure capable of producing new golfers. Later upgrades added full greens and synthetic tees, and the course became associated with professional Alexandre Kaleka. The compact lies within the Plaine estate among planting and training areas. Holes are unusually long for pitch and putt, with Sologne wind influencing flight.

Seventeen holes are par threes and the sixteenth is a 240-metre par four. Distances mostly range from 100 to 170 metres and require several irons. Current federation data publishes 2,504 metres, par 55, men’s SSS 53 and Slope 90. An older club reference listed 2,579 metres.
