History
Deauville Saint-Gatien opened in 1988 with twenty-seven holes designed by Olivier Brizon. Red-loop La Bergerie became the most powerful component of the modular system.
The loop overlooks the Seine estuary and Pays d’Auge countryside, crossing meadow, orchard edges and open ground. Wind has strong influence.
Architecture
Two par threes, five par fours and two par fives include several holes beyond 350 metres and a 512-metre closing par five.
The official site publishes 3,198 metres and par 36. Combined courses regularly exceed 6,100 metres.
Club experience
Saint-Gatien offers academy, range, putting and chipping greens, dining, pro shop and changing rooms, with daily rotation of three loops.
