Golf de Coutainville

Coutainville is a compact technical 4,924-metre par-68 coastal course divided between a historic links nine and a bocage extension added in 1996.

Golf began in 1919 within Agon-Coutainville. For decades it operated as a wind-exposed nine-hole links before a 1996 bocage extension created the current 18 holes. Historic holes lie close to the sea on sandy open ground, while the extension crosses sheltered Normandy countryside of hedges, trees and water.

Numerous par threes, compact par fours, water and bunkers reward accuracy. The links section supports ground play, while bocage holes require more aerial position. The official site publishes 4,924 metres and par 68. Some rating sources list around 4,946 metres from alternative white tees.
