Cabri is Clécy’s main course, a 5,770-metre par 72 following the dramatic hills of Suisse Normande.

Domaine de Clécy was created in the late 1980s south of Caen. Bill Baker used natural hills, valleys and woodland, with Chamois later providing an alternative physical ninth hole. The estate combines golf, manor, lodging, spa and dining. Fairways climb and descend through woodland, meadow and valleys. Lies are rarely flat and elevation changes effective distance.

Four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives follow natural land. Cabri uses a par-four ninth, while Chamois uses a longer par five. Current FFGolf data publishes 5,770 metres, par 72, men’s SSS 71. 3 and Slope 130. Older commercial sources list 5,861 metres.
